Romance in the Northwoods got started when a group of single people were sitting around talking about how difficult it is to meet other singles in the area.  We had all tried the typical online dating websites at one time and noticed that we were looking at a lot of profiles from all over the United States.  Instead of looking for love in far away places, we came up with the idea for a dating website for singles that live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Northeastern Wisconsin.  With this website, we can now view thousands of singles in the Great Northwoods!  More profiles to choose from, means a better chance of finding your TRUE LOVE!
